Every donation lets us act for the protection of sea turtles in French Polynesia: rescuing, treating and rehabilitating animals in distress, and strengthening our conservation work and education programmes to better secure their future.

Transparency
Where does your donation go?
The rehabilitation centre
Veterinary care, food, rehabilitation pools, medical equipment and the day-to-day running of the centre that takes in injured or weakened sea turtles.
Research and conservation
Scientific monitoring of nesting, photo-identification, satellite tags, and protection of nesting sites and marine habitats across French Polynesia.
Education and outreach
School programmes, teaching materials and public events that raise awareness of marine protection among young Polynesians and visitors alike.
What the law says
Tax benefits
The applicable regime depends on where you are taxed. A tax receipt is sent to you automatically after your donation.
Individuals — mainland France
You benefit from a tax reduction:
- Deduction from taxable income of 66% of the donation amount
- Capped at 20% of taxable income
Companies — mainland France
You benefit from a tax reduction:
- Deduction from taxable income of 60% of the donation amount
- Capped at 5 per thousand (5‱) of the donating company’s turnover
Companies — French Polynesia
You benefit from a tax reduction:
- Deduction from taxable income of 100% of the donation amount
- Capped at 5 per thousand (5‱) of the donating company’s turnover

Our boat at Tetiaroa
Generously donated by Anne Carlier and Dirk Spillebeen (IFBD), it lets our field teams reach the motu and monitor nesting throughout the season on the Tetiaroa atoll.
A satellite tag
Satellite tags donated by Daniel Evans and Roldan Valverde (Sea Turtle Conservancy), fitted to sea turtles in Moorea to track their movements and better understand their behaviour.
Haki’s treatment
X-ray and treatment for Haki the sea turtle, currently being rehabilitated at our centre, made possible by the public through a dedicated fundraising campaign.
