Volunteering and eco-volunteering

For nearly 20 years, Te mana o te moana has monitored the green turtle nesting sites on Tetiaroa atoll. The aim is to gather data on the various factors that characterise and influence green turtle nesting on site. Collecting this data helps build knowledge of South Pacific populations and, in turn, supports the conservation actions and adapted management measures put in place.

This work is carried out with the authorisations and support of French Polynesia's Direction de l'Environnement, along with the long-standing backing of The Brando hotel and Tetiaroa Society. This is the fieldwork our volunteers and eco-volunteers come to strengthen.
