Description
The Atira’a ia Tahiti project sets out to let local associations and experts share their knowledge — cultural, environmental, scientific or social. Twenty training days were run by the associations and the experts.
Through training days led by each association and open to association members and volunteers across Tahiti, the project offers a rare opportunity to share knowledge and pick up new skills.
Objectives
- Build the skills of members and volunteers of Tahiti’s associations
- Bring the island’s association network together through shared knowledge
- Raise awareness among the people of Tahiti of the importance of association work and of the missions these organisations carry out
Outcome
In total, 257 people were trained, and 14 associations and 4 experts took part in this exchange of skills.
